ADULT PROGRAM
Spring Book Sale
April 25 and 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Spring cleaning means making space on your shelves for the trove of literary gems you will discover at the Friends of the Rockport Library’s Spring Book Sale. Bargain hunters will love that most items are priced between $1 and $5. Those wishing to save even more can join the Friends of the Rockport Library for $20 and receive a tote to fill with as many books as they can fit (except items on the “specials” table). The tote can be brought back to the library during book sales in June and September to be filled up again for only $10. Shoppers can feel good knowing that proceeds from the event will help support the library.

The Friends of the Rockport Public Library introduces library lovers to each other while building connections throughout our community. Hosting meetings, events, and book sales, the organization supports the library on several levels. In past years, we have helped purchase library materials; supported the annual butterfly gardens; provided new book stacks and exterior railings; and funded programs that serve everyone using the library. The Foundation is an IRS 501.c3 not-for-profit organization formed in 2018 by a small group of dedicated Rockport residents to raise the required funding for the new Rockport Public Library. While we successfully raised the initial funding for the building and furnishings, we’ve now set our sights on developing a world-class speaker series. CLICK HERE to learn more.
